The European raw material market is seeing a sharp divergence between specialty minerals and botanical extracts this month. Supply chain disruptions in precursor acids have pushed magnesium malate to 14.20 EUR per kg, a 15 percent increase since May. Ashwagandha prices are normalizing after the 2025 harvest surplus finally reached EU warehouses. KSM-66 is currently trading at 41.00 EUR per kg for volumes over 500kg. If you are formulating stress or sleep complexes for a January launch, this is the lowest price point we have seen in 18 months.
